Hydrostatic lever removal
What's the best way to remove hydrostatic lever on a model 123? I guess I need to remove to replace dash decal right?

Its held on with a set screw but there usually tough to get off, once the set screw is loosened the handle is usually froze to the shaft. If I need to take one off with out damaging it I usually unhook the linkage and unbolt it from the mount so you can pull the handle and shaft up away from the dash so you have room to work without risking the dash.

Never mind I see your working on a 123, you can still undo the linkage and pull it up to put the decal on.

Pulled the top pin, but apparently I have to pull the bottom pin, which of course is a pain in the kiester to reach. Looks like I'm gonna try to remove the set screw and try that route?

Got the set screw loose and slid the indicator dial off. Looks like I can get decal on now. Thanks
