2084 with 3 point hitch
The wiring is really messed up!! The P.O. added a switch for the PTO and fuel pump. The key switch will not do anything. I tried to jump it and the starter spins but won’t catch the fly wheel. I can spin the shaft by hand so it’s not froze up. P.O. claimed it ran. Anyway, I don’t want to mess with it. What’s it worth as is?

Thanks Terry... I was thinking on the lower side of that but was wondering. I'm going to go tinker with it tonight and see what I can do. If I can get it to run, with the wiring as bad as it is, will that make much of a difference? Thanks again...

Look at it this way. If all that plastic is good, it costs about $1000 to replace if from the dealer.
The three point? I don't know. Seems like I have seen prices of $4-500 for that here. Could be wrong about that as I don't play the three point game. The power steering is worth something. $150-$200? Tires/wheels? Tunnel cover? Mud flaps on the rear fenders? If you're selling in desperation, contact me. Otherwise, fix what needs to be fixed. It probably won't take much more than some head scratching. |

I doubt that switch is for the fuel pump, the Kohler CH20 has a vacuum fuel pump, a switch isn't going to control that. It's probably more likely to be controlling the fuel cut off solenoid. Perhaps you only need to replace the wiring harness and maybe the ignition switch. I would just dig into the electrical issues and find/fix that, and it would be worth a lot more with that cat 0 hanging on the back. Hmmmm.... I could use a Cat 0 for my 2284

It’s alive! I got it running but it runs ruff... maybe a carb kit? I’m sure it needs an ignition switch, and a few other things ... I don’t have the time, know how or the patience to deal with it. Lastly, I’ve got plans for something else in the future.
