Default Picked up a QA42 Thrower

Found this gem in the same place I found my 129. Picked it up complete with all parts, a new belt, and some surface rust for $150. Pics don't do it justice, there looks to be more dirt on her than rust I hope to get it cleaned up this weekend to really see what I got. Everything spins freely, looks to have a new scrape plate, and the rotor is in good shape. Bring it on, winter!!

Good eye, thank you! I don't see it as available from CC parts anymore so what's my best bet for replacing this pulley with the 1/2? Is this something Napa may have on hand (what size would I need?), or am I going to have to get it off the internet?

Would something like this work for me?

http://www.farmandfleet.com/products...l#.UflD7dK-q70

It's cast iron, 3.5" (which should give me plenty of speed), 1/2 inner diameter, and already comes with a set screw.

Whatever you use, it should be the same diameter as the original. 3.5" is way too small. You won't have any power.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
