New #2 Tiller
This weekend I was able to find a #2 tiller in great shape. I'm in the cleanup process right now.... de-rusting small parts, de-greasing...... So while I clean it up I'll be looking for a creeper for my 108

Yes I did get both belts. If you look real close in the 1st pic the long belt is coiled up next to the small shop vac in the top right. The PO says the last time the unit was used was in 1982 by his grandfather so the belts are that old as well..... I got almost everything needed (I think) to get this up and running minus a creeper. I have the mule drive pulleys in an oil bath right now to hopefully get them lubed up a bit. One thing I will need is the bottom pulley key as the pulley was off of the gearbox when I got it but the key was nowhere to be found.

That tiller looks so good I don't think the PO used it much if at all. Belts included are a bonus (the main drive belt is expensive.) The #2s work great!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
