I never did find out where to get the deck bearings. That was the intention of the whole post. I cannot fine the bearings that go in the mandrels

Maybe i need to just remove them and take them to NAPA

And that is the reason I suggest taking it apart FIRST.

Look, here's the deal. Roland posted all the part numbers for the bearings in post #10. All you have to do is plug those numbers into the Google machine (without the "IH", example: 582010 R91) and Google will give you several places they are available. Now, that said, although the old bearings may in fact say "IH" on them, a bearing is an easy thing to get. Most all bearings have a part number stamped into them. Just take apart the spindles, and get the number off the bearings. If your local NAPA can't help you, find a bearing company. I've never been more than 50 miles from a good bearing store, but depends where you are at. If you don't have one, plug the numbers in the Google machine. It will spit out a million places you can buy them. Or, if you can't find a number on the bearing, you can use a set of calipers and measure the ID, OD and thickness of the bearing and order them by size. It's really easy. You should pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $8 to $15 for any one of those bearings. They shouldn't be expensive. Shouldn't be hard. If I was working on it, that is how I would do it. Only I would call a bearing store about 50 miles from me, (Coldwell Bearing, in Terre Haute, In) buy them and have them shipped, or use it as an excuse to ride the Goldwing 100 miles and pick them up.

If you don't care what the cost is, and just want them now, before you disassemble, I think ihccw.com had all of them.

That is were i made the mistake I was using IH part number I will try it with out the IH

IH-582010-R91 are the center pulley bearings - replaced by 941-0155 - 2 required. $14.75 ea.

IH-470880-R91 are the spindle bearings - replaced by IH-470880-R92 - 4 required. $9.00 ea.

Still available from Cub Cadet.
