Longest championship drought in history was broken last nite.
I'm not a Cubs fan but was still one of the best World Series games ever!

Agreed. Awesome series, historic proportions on both sides. Congrats to the Cubs. Put the curse to bed.

I'm not a baseball fan either, but I'm glad the Cubs won it. Jenn watched the game.

I haven't watched baseball since I was a kid but I watched most of the series and was rooting for the cubs, glad they finally got the win.

The Cubs win will, for a bit, take the minds of us Illinois residents off the garbage we are so used to hearing about our state. Don't worry, after the parade it will be back to garbage as usual.

*Beginning with 2 of our past 3 (4 of the last 7) governors getting jail time.
*Every time we hear about our president who deserves to be impeached. (and BTW, as a life-long IL resident I didn't even know who Barack Obama was until he beat Hillary in his first bid if that tells you anything; he is a man the media "made" and have "carried" the last 7 years)
*The State of IL not having a budget for nearly 2 years now and many state programs, insurances, transportation, and especially our schools have no funding.
**Pretty sad when the lifelong Dem speak of the House has more power and authority than the state elected governor and stops every measure to governor proposes. He rules by fear.
**Chicago's violent crime rate through the roof with 600+ murders, 3,000+ shootings and 3,600+ shooting victims so far this year.
**Illinois' business tax rate is sending companies out of this state like birds migrating, thus causing the loss of jobs
...just to name a few, if you want more, I can surely share with ya

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
