Why do I keep this stuff ?
any one have a clue what the shield in the pics is for? its very close to fitting a 1x2, 1x3 or 1x4 and 1x5 between the back of the rear fenders. I've had it on a shelf for close to 20 years .

I do the same thing, I better save it because I may need it someday. Of course when I do need it I can't find it so I go and buy another one.

Yeah, but as soon as you get rid of it, you'll need it.
I originally thought the lower one was for a 70/100 but after I see the 2nd picture I can tell that isn't right.

Junk is something you think you need to keep. After then years, you still haven't used it, sold it or even looked at it so you throw it away. The next week, you need it.

I've got one of those too, I am keeping, and I don't even have a tractor to fit it on, I guess i keep it because the logo too. Just one of those parts that sits on the shelf. There is a technique called 5S to sort that stuff out, if it helps. Sort, Set in order, shine, standardize, sustain. The first one is to sort out and keep only necessary items in the workplace, well thats a cub part, so its necessary!

yeah the top one is for a 1X4/5 series. Dad's got one on his 125.
The bottom one has a giant IH decal on it and holes in it. Would look great hanging on the wall of the cub barn/shop.

I will check and see if a part that shape will fit on my lowboy later today. I have a couple of the smaller panels I can hold up to reference it with. Whatever it is, it's cool!
