Not certain what you are asking but as long as there isn't a magnet on that part, there isn't anything on it that can't be machined. The face of the hub can be easily milled or turned down. The thru bore or even the outside of the small hub can be cut on a lathe or a milling machine with a boring head. CNC mill could handle any of it.

Are you wanting the black hub machined smaller in diameter or made shorter?
Either way it is possible. What is on the backside ? is there enough material
Other than that can be done

The magnet has probably got hot and swelled. If it won't fit, something isn't right. I see an IH part number on the part tag, so it's the correct part. Or you could machine it, find out there is another issue and not be able to return the part if you don't need it. Or end up with a bunch of time, and maybe money, in something that was unnecessary to begin with.

Providing the backside isn't already bored out leaving a thin wall, sure that can be machined. 3 or 4 ways it can be done, just depending on the equipment the guy has available. I'm like Jmech--Why? Is it defective, the mating part defective or are you building something custom?

Jason

What tractor is this for? I'm wondering if you have the field coil properly centered.

Going by the part number on the paper "759-3506" I'm guessing your working on a rear PTO clutch. First thing I'd check is to see if the field coil will fit into the rotor if it is not mounted to the bearing. It's possible that you just need to play with the alignment of the coil. If that fails you may need to do some work in a lathe. Oak would be a good one to ask about the rear PTO's

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
