The shop is only two miles away so it's no big deal
I was talking about a repair/tinkering shop--not a business! Didn't know you were a machinist. You using a piston compressor? We went to a rotary over 15 years ago. It replaced two pretty good sized piston compressors, they just sit around on standby in case the rotary breaks or we have about 3-4 guys running air grinders at once. With the rotary, low air alarms are virtually non-existent!

Our family farm is like 100 yards from a busy freeway. Nice place but really noisy.

Nice place Terry! I'm sure you will enjoy it. Sound's like it's close to work also...

I live on one end of the family farm. It's been in my family for 150 years. We just tore down the 128 year old farmhouse this year. The brick piers underneath were beginning to crumble. We found someone that agreed to re purpose all of the heart pine lumber. We didn't want to see it ruin or get knocked down at a later date.

Glad you got it and some more Cub storage to boot!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
