3225 wiring diagram
I'm needing a wiring diagram for my just purchased 3225 . the serial # tag is gone . the problem I'm having it will start and run for about 5 seconds then shuts off . what I 've found when I crank it over there is power going to the carb solenoid and the voltage regulator but when it starts the power is gone therefore closing the fuel solenoid and shutting the engine down . the safety switch under the seat when pushed in gives me power to where I need it but when it starts it also keeps the starter engaged . is there a diode somewhere that would keep the power from going to the starter once it's running?? if I unhook the blue solenoid wire the tractor runs fine .. it doesn't appear that anything has been hacked up by po. .........thanks for any help

If Roland doesn't send you one PM me your email address and I will send you one.
Yes, there are 2 diodes. One for the start circuit and one for the run.

There are two different Wiring Diagrams for the 3225, depending on the serial number range.
What is your chassis serial number..??

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
