Haha it has a fan but I tried mowing with the cab and it's very noisy and hot. Cab had not been off the machine since 1989 when the dealer put it on. I'll probably put it on a lower optioned super and leave it on all year with the snow blower.

Nice Todd! Yeah, I try to use the stuff I buy... at least that's how I justify buying the things I do... One of these days, I'd love to stop by and see your "show" items!

Kwitzke, you could always just send that cab and snowblower my way if it's too noisy and hot... I'll put it to good use!

I'll hang on it for a while haha just won't try to use it when it's over 90° again.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
