I have been well known in this area for many years. It is also well known that I have been working on Sundays on a regular basis when I didn't have to just to make more money. I will have to be very careful about what I do on Sunday from now on because of that. This new job doesn't require me to work Sundays, and it could make a drastic difference in the impact on others lives if they see the major change in how I keep the Lords day as well as how I change in other ways. Actions do speak much louder than words. My wife and I were raised going to church and we raised our kids going to church. It has just been in the last few years that I stopped going. I believe God allowed events to happen to drag me down low enough to finally let go of the pride and stubbornness that I have had most of my life. Thanks to everyone for your prayers. I know it can make a difference. |

This is a completely different life than what I had before. I haven't kept up on several of the forums I belong to.
I started typing this around 7 am thinking I had the day off. I got a call for a short haul and he wanted picked up about 8 am. On the way down, another guy called for a short run. Before I left with the first guy, a third guy called. It's 11 am now. I'm waiting for the third guy to get something at a store as I type this. A fourth guy called. I pick him up in about 20 minutes, take him somewhere and drop him off get the second guy that I dropped off an hour ago and take him home, then go get the fourth guy and take him home. Now it's 12:15 pm There has been from 2 to 5 people on each run. Three of the runs ended up at the same sale. I'm getting ready to take one bunch to a store, then home. As soon as I get them home, I come back and get a another group. The first group I brought up said They will find another way home. I've turned down two other runs because I couldn't fit them in. According to other drivers, this kind of schedule isn't uncommon for a Saturday. Typing this in bits and pieces, I hope this made sense. I don't know if I'm coming or going. Weekdays are a lot less hectic; usually 1 - half to full day run. My first day of work was October 14. I've had - 1 - 2,000 mile round trip run 19 - full day runs 5 - 1/2 day runs 5 - short hauls (I charge $40 flat fee for hauls under 25 miles). 4 more short hauls today. |

My wife had her third chemo treatment Wednesday. She had real bad joint pain for a couple days after the first two treatments. This time it isn't near as bad.
They do some kind of blood test before each treatment that indicates how bad the cancer is. It has gone down after each treatment. Hopefully, a couple more treatments will put her back in the normal, non-cancer range. |

The treatments sort of knock the wind out of her for 2 or 3 days, but she's pretty normal after that. She has another treatment this coming Wednesday.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
