1964 Cub Cadet with deck

I am wondering about the value of the 100 in our barn. It is used to pull a large lead collection trailer and pick up fall leaves. We have a zero turn and feel that this is excess equipment but wonder if I am being to hasty to sell it. I put it on facebook for $450 and have three people messaged to buy. This made me curious about value and use to me.

Any ideas on value and if the zero will pull a sprayer and lead cart just as well?

If you have people beating down the door to buy it at $450, better sell it.

There's no comparing the comfort of a 1964 model cub to any of the new stuff. I own a kubota bx tractor and it is smooootthh. But I also own a cub 102. With that being said I am the kind of guy who appreciates the "cool" factor of the older machine. It is a true workhorse, built for rugged use. And like me , it's a dinosaur. As far as the "worth" of your tractor, in the shape it's in, not much to most people. Now fully restored, that's different. Heck you may get 450-500 out of it

The "d" and "f" and pretty close on the keyboard, just a simple case of it being typed wrong.

IF you posted for $450 and have buyers, sell it.
It will do what you want it to do around your yard.

I can see a mistype happening on one word, but it was spelled "lead" twice.

That's not a bad deal imo, I would just keep it and use it if you don't have to sell it.

Running without smoke or burning oil? Transmission without issues? Deck in good shape? $450 is not out of the question if yes to all the above. Looks to be bare back- No rear lift. Good fenders are going for $200 or higher plus shipping without the reflectors. Price would be too low if headlights and a creeper transfer case.

Another 1 time poster looking for price? If you were offered 450.00 and didn't take it, well, you screwed up. It needs who knows what and a lot of $$ to make it look decent. And that's not taking in the fact it probably needs a ton of work.

Easy Ronnie.....(s)he may/may not be a one time poster. The best way to make a friend is to be a friend. Extend the olive branch out and help others so that the possibly one time poster may become the long time member and the forum benefits! Remember how you felt not so long ago......and never forget it so that others are treated with kindness, too!

A lot of my cubs need "a lot of work" by others standards, but they are mine and I am proud to own each one of them!

**I think this thread has already had some bad things in it that have since been removed. We've had enough of the criticism in this forum, and it isn't constructive criticism by any means. Good manners and kindness will always be in high demand and unfortunately, short supply and the only thing we take with us will be our character.

Yep, I agree. Why not just fix the old girl up and use it? I have been looking for a 100 for a year. But, I am particular now that I know a little, very little. What I do know is one with options such as creeper and headlights always get my attention, but their usually over priced. 450.00 for the one the PO has is a little high in my book, by about 250.00 worth?
