Nick having used a blade on a super before your headlights will light things up just fine. Definately not the same for a 451 or 551 blower. The blower chute blocks the headlights and your forward vision. Not so much with a blade. I am planning on mounting some lights on my drift busters to use instead of the headlights. Only about one snow in a hundred will be deep enough to have to use the drift busters any way but you can easily push enough snow to have it fill the blade to over flowing.

Here's hoping you don't have to use it too often this winter. Also on the blade and on a gravel drive be sure you have the feet down to where the blade is at least a half inch above the surface even so you will also pick up some gravel but less than if the blade is lower. I actually tried to keep the blade edge about an inch above gravel level because the feet can dig in and suddenly you are pushing the gravel drive off along with the snow.
