That made a BIG difference Daniel!! Never heard of Evaporust. Does that stuff work on the whole tractor? Sure makes a difference in how you view your cub when your rims are cleaned up, doesn't it?

Ive had a run of slow leaks, rusty beads and "quality time" staring thru a window of a sandblast booth and applying POR 15 to the bead area of rims lately.... got a couple more 8" front wheels to do now.... starting to thunder outside, might be a good time for some "inside the garage" time.

I'd bet it works on any rust anywhere; only tried it on the wheels. I bought it at O Rilley's. They make liquid stuff and a gel stuff. I bought the gel stuff so it would adhere to vertical surfaces. I tried it on a very small space to see if it would remove paint. Once I was satisfied it wouldn't, then I put it on the entire wheel. Directions said after a few hours clean it off, but I let it sit overnight.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
