In only have about 7,000 square feet of lawn and have 2 tractors

I use the 2072 for mowing nowadays, the 1450 sits most of the time. But I don't think I would get that much money for it if I sold it so I'd rather hang on to it, it's worth more to me than whatever I would get for it.

I have 20,000 Sq/Ft and 4 tractors! Well actually 2 are runner, one is in storage and the last one is under heavy maintenance so technically you win since you ratio is lower (3500sq/ft per tractor) LMAO

Default smallest yard

I have a "city lot" I mow with an old cordless Remington lawnmower.(takes around 15-20 minutes) I bought a "Weedeater" Riding mower so the neighbor kid could cut the grass. Made it fun for him. Then I found a 1440, I wanted one to move snow around for a long time. (so I wound up cutting other lawns in the neighborhood with 1440 and the POS Weedeater) I couldn't use my 1440 in my backyard, it wouldn't fit through the gate, and I'd spend more time turning around then cutting, it's like 15' x 35'. (The neighbor kid moved out last month)

Since I sold my other property (about 3 acers) I now only have a 50x50 back yard and maybe a 15 x 18 front yard. But ya bet yer rear I still have my garden tractors and sometimes use them to mow it as well ( takes about 5 minutes with a push mower) my excuse to the wife is I need em for moving snow...

My old lot was 75x150. Ran a Home Depot John Deere rider from '05-'13; Cub Cadet pusher from '01-'05; 782-1861 until this summer when we moved. Now we are on 2.3 acres. Takes a solid 4 hours to mow here.

Be nice to come up with a clean 1864 w/54 GT on it, those decks really cut well.

It would be nice. My 61 has the 54" & it's a grass eating SOB. I'd like to step up to a Command engine and power steering.

What if it had a cat 0 3pt, rear end braces, and hydraulic outlets on the front and back?

Even better, but my wife would kill me. She just lost her job, so spending money on a mower isn't happening anytime soon.

We're on a normal "city lot" of about a 1/4 acre total. So I guess we mow about 6000 sq. ft. with a 100 & either a 38" or 42" deck. Takes me usually 75 minutes to string trim, push mow around the obstacles (house, shed, garden, 1 tree & electrical boxes) and ride the tractor around to finish.

I can save about 15 - 20 minutes by not using the tractor.

But... I use the tractor for mowing, snow removal, landscaping, moving my sled/atv in & out of its storage spot behind the house, haul tools & material in the yard trailer & garden work.

Most importantly, I keep the tractor because I grew up on a 100 (which my parents still have & use) and I can give rides to my boys (4 yrs & 18 mths) around the yard and neighborhood. That alone is enough to justify its use, IMHO.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
