Me and my son mowed for 2 1/2 hrs each. Started with the 2072 and 2284. Then we went to the 982 and 1811. To finish the day I logged 2 more hrs bushhogging with an IH 454.

Spent 2 1/2 hrs. of thinking time on the dual stick 1650 cutting the lawn. Didn't take so long today, as the woman was on her orange "thingy", and we met in the middle.
Help is help, regardless of the color, or quality of the tractor I guess.

I finished mounting the QA42A thrower on my "Zippy 149". Test ran everything to make sure it all works. I'm ready for whatever winter throws our way. At the rate our weather is going, that will likely be sooner rather than later.

Your grass always looks nice after you cut it. Roland should put it up in the header photo.

2284 went to miss'in bad today when I started to mow the lawn. Had to reach in the back of the shed for the 2182. In a flurry of activity, I swapped the deck and got the dang lawn mowed eventually. Yeah, the deck settles quickly.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
