Questions cyroul for the restoration of my 1200 cub
Hi everybody, I need advice about my cub engine, because I do not know where to start. What it is imperative to verify that they are wear parts has changed? When I recovered I tried to reboot, it did not, and made a valve was sticking. I take off the manipullant from top to bottom and has Started the quarter without starter. Does this side there should be lapping the valves? thank you |

The 5 bolts I've disassembled it is not the problem, I do not know how to put myself to pull the pulley as a schematic he spoke of a cerclips, but I think it should serve as a place bearing . In addition I am really stupid, I just found by looking more closely at the documentation that I received myron. Thank you Mr. Roland. Do I keep this post to post pictures of the progress of the restoration of the cub?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
