Moving a 1864

Every time I need to move my 1864 a foot or two, I think about the warning decal and wonder what the failure mechanism would be. Should the tractor be moved 'more than a few feet' (incorrectly) ?

I've done some research and found everything should be OK moving it for quite a distance if you push SLOWLY.

I also saw the Sundstrand has auto relief valves. I guess that's what allows the tractor to be pushed?

If you move it too fast not running, it can explode the hydro pump. Not pretty.

I will make sure to move it SLOWLY.....an exploding pump does not sound like a good thing.

Ol'George, a member on here always has the best saying..... he says, "Treat it like a toddler. Don't move it any faster than they can walk or any farther." Pretty good rule. I've moved them a pretty long way without damage. (Several hundred feet.) Just take it slow.
