Probably, but it would be helpful if you told us what deck you have?

Cub parts site says to could have any one of these 38",42",44", 48" or 50" decks.

Yep, from underneath the deck measure from the outermost tip of the blades that will tell you the width of the cut. Also if you can post a pic of the deck it will be helpful.

According to the Cub parts site they made 3 different 42" decks but it looks like they all use the same belt. This is the part # IH-477599-R2

Still wouldn't hurt to see what your working with.

Default 42" deck on 149

I posted pics..can't find where they are tho. So, here goes...
I bought a 82" belt and it works great. Now I have a new problem. I sheared the bolt for the deck belt tension pulley. Any idea where I can get one?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
