Who's ready for snow...
I know, I know...you don't want to think about snow but I'm ready just in case. You never know in Vermont...
Thanks, Lew for the QA plow frame she is painted and already installed. Even replaced my nice rebuilt hydraulic unit with a fully restored hydraulic unit that I got from a Cub buddy...I guess I need another Cub to put my spare hydraulic unit on.

I am I am! I can't wait for snow! I can remember a few years ago not wanting to say that, but I am now!
The mild winter we had last year put me in a funk. I used to love moving snow with my dad's Farmall H w/3 pt mounted freeman blade (he still has the set up) but since I moved into my own place I've been wishing for snow to move on my own. Last winter I had a shovel to move the bit of stuff we had, but wasn't much fun. Fast forward to this spring- I picked up my 147 and a snow blade shortly later and have been looking forward to a nice long winter. (ask me this in february.) I don't have it installed yet- I'm planning on doing that next week as the snow has been knocking just a short 7 or 8 hr drive from here.

Nice setup Drh. I think I'm ready. I'm just having a hard time finding wheel weights for a decent price here in southern NY. So should I go with a turf tire with chain or a narrow ag tire that are calcium filled?

My Snapper walk-behind snow blower is serviced and ready to go. My Cub Cadet 1250 Nightmare has Stabil in the gas tank. All I need to do to prepare it for winter is to run it out of gas in the carburetor and cover it up. I'll see it next spring.

snow blowing is fun...but not as fun as the blade! I mowed last week but am waiting for some rain to settle the dust before I drag the new yard and seed it (wasn't a very good year to try to establish a lawn). then I have to mow off the wildflower meadow (hard frost on Saturday so it's ready). Then into my heated shop, drop the deck (ready for another teardown/painting), get the chains and plow on and move to the cold side of the shop (pointing out of course).
had to hit the local CC dealer last week...they actually sell what has to be a 48" blower now...we have a gravel drive here and my 28" doesn't much like it...can't imagine the wear and tear with that bigger machine.

My lineup isn't ready yet...but I do have one ready so far...the decked out 62 Original!
I still need to mount up the 36 inch blower on either the 1650 again or possibly the 147 if I swap out PTO clutches. My NF blade may go on the 106 or the 102. May also put the blade on the 61 Original and put a WF blade on a 169 with a Windbreaker cab.

I'm ready but the cubs arn't yet. Once I get done mowing grass blades will go on the diesel and 1250.

I'm ready, physically and mentally!
Got the blade and chains ready for the Super, so once the first flake falls...they both will be thrown on. One thing I would like to do to the 1782 before snow would be to rig a cab on it. I'm thinking about finding an old Craftsman, Snapper, Simplicity, etc...Something cheaper than an actually Cub Cadet, or IH cab.
