PS: Glad to share what little I know about the trans stuff...it isn't much but I haven't broken anything yet! :-)
I don't think it will be much removal but I'm thinking of trimming them done a little and using the coating to protect from any vibration damage. I'm sure someone else has run into this same problem.

It'll be nice to have someone to talk to while I'm going thru it. I'm not worried about taking it apart it's the putting in back together is always the hard part.

Got both in the garage last night. Got the 5 digit set up to test the engine. Not starting but it has spark and fuel so going to check timing and make sure that is set.

Once I get it running it's time to start breaking them down for powder coating.
