Default Creeper gear

Alright creeper gear, does anyone make them still or do I have to go looking for new used ones?
My father had one in a cub he had but ended up selling it off, what does it take to put one in?

Unless you bought another one Marko, you can only put a creeper in a gear drive.

Yeah I had a few I have been looking at, just wanted to track down a creeper drive first.
That and I wondered if anyone still made one but it looks like they are N/A as far as I can tell. I'll keep you guys informed if/when I choose the cub!

No, no one makes them. Haven't in over 20 years. Check ebay, or put up an ad in the "wanted" section on this site.

You should expect to pay between $125 and $150. No more, hopefully less. Some guys are asking $200 or more now..... don't pay it. I would only give more than $150 if it had been gone through and comes with installation gaskets. But still not $200.

122 will end up being the choice more than likely.

Found a cub cadet 104 that is solid and runs good with the creeper already in it, guess that solves that issue, only listed for $285, probably offer $200

Be sure and check for sloppy driveshaft issues before purchase.
You may be stuck with an expensive rebuild project such as this 128.
It also needed a throw out bearing, a driveshaft and refurbished clutch hanger w/new pin.

The input shaft repair in this 128 alone is a $50 fix + driveshaft + throw out bearing + PTO + replacement engine and a host of other minor issues (steering rebuild is one) and this $75 "steal of a deal" Cub is pushing $400 at this point.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
