It will fit, but won't work unless you're using the same type of deck on the 108 as you were using on the 1200. The 38/42/48" decks use a mule drive with straight idler pulley arms, and the 44/50" decks use one with angled idler pulley arms.

Mule Drive Arms
FFGino here.
MATT! Have you just discovered the straight arms needed for the rototiller mule drives? Everyone else has been talking about twisting the 44/50" arms straight, and you tell us that the 38/42/48" decks already have the straight arms. Looks like you've been hiding your true genius from us all along? LOL. Seriously though, that may be a source of the straight arms. I bought mine from an IH/Cub Cadet dealer probably 16-17 years ago to keep the long belt from jumping off. I suspect though that these parts are almost 'hens teeth' by now. Yes sir, true genius. |

You can also pick up a spare 44/50A/C mule drive (whatever size pulleys you need) and straighten the arms. They bend easy enough.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
