Default Prayer for my Grandpa

The past 6 months my grandma has been battling cancer, and late last night she passed away. my grandparents have been married nearly 55 years and did everything together. so i'm worried how my grandpas going to get along without her. i've considered moving in with him to help him out. this is by far the worst day i've had. my grandparents practically raised my brother and i. i'm praying my grandpa will be alright.

MHARRISON

I lost my wife of over 45 years so I know a little bit of what he will go through. It will be tough but he will make it.

Be there for him but don't overwhelm him. He will need some alone time and remember you can't replace his spouse.

The evenings and meal times are the worst. Going out to eat by yourself is probably the hardest thing to do.

Most areas have Hospice and they usually hold Grief group meetings that are free to people that have lost loved ones. If you can find one and convince your Grandpa to attend, he will meet others that have gone through the same thing and it will help talking to others and the healing will begin.

Good luck to both you and your Grandpa.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
