Default My uncle

My uncle in Mich is in the hospital from a chain saw accident. I don't have many details but a branch he was cutting came back and hit him in the face. He has lots of facial bones broken with skin removed from his cheek bones. His daughter and grandson was with him when it happened and was able to get help to him but he lost a lot of blood before they could reach him. He's in a medically induced coma and every time they try and bring him out he starts having convulsions. Still no word on his eye sight or damage from his brain swelling.

My sister that has been keeping me up to date has been sick and was hospitalized for the 3rd time in the past 6 months.

Been offline for the past week and a half and just now getting back on to post the info.

Thank you all but the hits keep coming.

I got a whammy today. My wife's uncle Gene has Parkinson disease. I got my 1864 from him and we've always have close. He started my wanting a cub 20 years ago when I saw his. Since 1961 he's only cut grass with a cub. I'm just numb from everything hitting me at once.

Duke, like I told you on the phone the other day, and my last email.
Hang in there, you have a great support group here at OCC. Any time you need an ear, you got my number.
Our prayers will continue for you and your family...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
