Thanks guys! I'm heading up to Mich as soon as my wife gets off work. I'll be driving solo due to my son having a doctors appointment to see if he has strep.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier. This is definitely a tough thing to go through. Right after my divorce was final in March of 2005, my dad died two months later in May. Then my mom died in July of 2006. I'm so thankful for all the good memories, though. God bless you and your family.

Duke,
How are you doing? Its been a couple of weeks since your Mom passed away. Sorry for your loss. I hope this finds you well and know you have some fond memories of you mom.
Your post reminded me of my mother. I did not know my mom due to a accident that claimed her life on this day in 1954, when I was about one and a half. We have lots of pictures of my mom from that time of her life. I was able to speak with her best friend tonight and learned a little bit more about mom.
Wishing you the best in this tough time. Remember the good times, strive for the future, live for today.
Sincere regards,
Chris

Duke,
I'm sorry I'm late in offering my condolences. Somehow I missed this post previously.
I wish I had words for you to help ease your great loss. Prayers will be offered in my house for you and yours. We lost my father 6 years ago and time can be slow to heal the wounds sometimes.
I will be giving my mother an extra big hug.
Respectfully,
Curtis

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
