I don't mind this thread being moved and that is certainly at the discretion of the ads/mods, but I had posted it in the E-bay/C-list deals in hopes that someone could find it there and hopefully score it for their collection. My concern is that by re-locating it, one of our friends may not see it as a "for sale" item and with CADplans great pictures of his 800, they may think this is just another thread for the 800 model. I appreciate the friendly discussion on cubs and in particular, the rarer models with their options, but is it possible to post this in two locations for it to be seen as it was originally intended? Thank you.

When I was a mod and an ad was getting too much discussion like this is, I would move the thread, but repost the ad link. Maxwell, it is well within the rules for you to go back and repost it in the ebay section, and not an issue at all.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
