I have a 126. I'm needing some new tires. what does everyone prefer for on the front. 16x6.5-8 or 4.80/4.00-8? thanks

I have always preferred the skinny tires on the older Cub's. Go with tri ribs.

What size tire does it have now? Do you have rims for both sizes?

Your wheels might be too wide for a 4.80/4.00, best measure the wheels before you buy tires

Just bought the 4.8/4.00 for my 126. I got the trip ribs and I am very please. Great tires. $62 for tires and tubes delivered.

I also think that series needs a wide tire. It's what I grew up with and what I prefer.

I think the tire size has more to do with what you're using the tractor for as opposed to "what looks cool".

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
