Why is it folks can't understand the BIG axle is where the load should be? Yeah, that might be handy inside a small shop, but so is an engine hoist--and I can use it with the doors closed. I would certainly be wary of that rig anywhere but level concrete. Even then you would have to be careful.

It's the same reason why folks with truck campers can't/don't
understand why the load of the camper should be on the big, bottom overload spring, instead of the puny upper overload spring.

If youre going to drink and cut Unistrut, at least make sure your contraption turns out not to be square.

Well, if the boom fails, the operator will be the first to know. Better wear a helmet when operating.

WOW! That's nice that the cable will be inches above your head when something breaks.

That’s too ridiculous to even start making fun of it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
