Those last two pics look like they came out of an IH catalog! Nice 125.

10-4 that, mortten! Here in N.E Ohio, we're preparing for about a two week blast of cold and snowy weather!

Get Your Cub Cadet Ready!

Also agreed in the advertisement-like picture of the model 125 with Cub Cadet sweeper,...... ah-mazing!

Default 12/9/17 And No Snow Yet

None of that white stuff yet! Current temperature is around 20*, and predicting three Alberta Clippers from now into next week, with cold temps dipping even further down! Looking forward to making a video on the coldest day of a cold start for this model 72.

IH Cub Cadet custom model 72 with snow blade.

Here's the 1250 running and with some addons. Just can't wait to use it some snow (every time we get snow i can't push it .) But got a factory plow, side panels, chains and sleeve hitch on it currently. (oh yeah, it's also got hydraulic lift!)

This is my first Cub Cadet a 1250. It is how I found it sitting in the local scrap yard and it even came with a real nice snowblade ! I just happened to drive past the yard that day in May and saw it sitting there. It needed the carb rebuilt and the PTO switch was shot. It polished up real nice !

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
