you laugh but do a search on his "completed listings".
He has sold more stuff than not sold stuff.
So He does seem to price it right.
All at Buy-it-Now prices too.

Its not uncommon for a seller to have other accounts to "buy" their own items and then later refund the sale (which nullifies the ebay fees) to build artificial feedback and an artificial market. I've actually seem that a lot in some of my other hobbies.

I'm not saying that's what that guy is doing... but you'd have to have a head injury (possibly so bad that its still bleeding) to pay what he's asking for that stuff in the condition its in.

case in point: Nearly the exact same 3 point boom that TSC sells for $25 MORE than TSC wants for it (different sticker by obviously VERY similar). His "new" stuff is also rusty.

This guy is looking for suckers and maybe finding them.

Yeah, sell fewer items with higher margins instead of selling lots of items for small margins!

The last tiller I bought, didn't cost anywhere near that much and it was complete with gear box, belts, mounting bracket and it had a really great running 149 attached to it.

I know we like to raise cane about these few sellers on ebay that ask absorbinate prices for their stuff, BUT I'm beginning to think they have the right idea.

If I could sell 10 items a year and make a living... That would be a "darn" sight smarter than working my tail off and giving the stuff away...

Default 2086 super cub

does anyone know who bought the 2086 that he sold he was asking $3495.00 for it .[it was my tractor that I sold to him for $2400 on consignment when he sold it he said he only sold it for what I wanted and wanted me to pay him for selling it for me] I don't believe for a minute he only got $2400 for it ,it was real nice with a redone 60"deck on it I'm just curious if anyone knows who bought it....I seen what he's asking for the tiller parts now for about a year or more now...just in case anyone wants to pay more than I'm asking for my tillers I'd be more than happy to take more for them

I see the tiller in the O.P. is still on ebay, same price, same misrepresentation of a #1 tiller as a #2 tiller.

ebay must not charge much to have stuff listed forever.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
