Default Hello everyone from Missouri

I'm a new member just trying to get to know fellow members, and where I might ask questions in the future. I have the following in my collection:
Cub cadet 70
Cub cadet 123
Cub cadet 1000
Cub cadet 1200
Cub cadet 1250
Cub cadet 1450
And a cub cadet 127 in very poor condition.
I am looking to restore all of these, some are already. I also collect and restore larger farm tractors.
My personal favorites are the quietline models. I grew up with one, I wish it was still around. It was traded of when I was a kid.

Welcome fellow Missourian! Good looking cubs you have there! What part of
Missouri are you in? Jeff city here. Good bunch of people on here, very knowledgeable!
I have a 1200 I restored, one we had on the farm. I started mowing with it in 81. And I have a customized 1211 I made into a 1288.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
