364 snowblower on a 1650
Has anyone put a 364 blower on a quiet line? I am attempting to put it on my 1650 but I am missing some parts to mounting brackets for the rear and have the wrong pulley. If anyone would have pictures that would help me a lot. Thank you.

IIRC, the 190-364 Snow Blower was originally designed for the Cub cadet 82 Series tractors.
It should mount up but the drive pulley and belt would have to match the PTO size on the Q/L tractors.

Is that...ducting I see going from the front into the cab for heat?

Yes it is duct work, like an old manifold heater. That cab is homemade. The guy I bought it from said he copied his brothers cozy cab but added that. It stays nice and warm in there and makes moving snow fun.
I have a pulley that must of came off of an 82 series tractor. It has a 5/8 belt and it has a offset in it. It will not work on my tractor. I would like to find the right pulley, otherwise I will have to resort to making something else work. If I at least had some pictures would help me a lot. |

Oh yeah no fan enough heat gradually makes it in there. I extended the exhaust through a hole with leather around it with a price of conduit. When it is below zero I stay comfortable with a sweatshirt. I think the cab will very nice with the snowblower too.

That heater setup is pretty cool.
What do you mean there is an offset? The input shaft is not long enough to line the pulley up with the tractor pto? Some pics would be helpful. Like Roland said, it was made for an '82 series, there is no "right" pulley for your tractor. Not saying it can't work, just may have to think outside the box. Maybe get a new pulley for a 1/2" belt? I have a 1450, and I use 1/2" belts to run my mower deck and thrower. Bill |

In the manual they make them to fit on quiet line tractors from the factory. The pulley I have is offset, like a car rim. Because of that when I put it on my tractor the pulleys don't line up. I would imagine the tractor that this pulley is for, the engine sat more forward. I will order a pulley and machine it to work but it would be nice to see what was correct and have an exact diameter measurement. And set how they mounted the long tubes that go under the tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
