I would, but not on the tablet...the holes should be in the same location. Just drill out the hole little bit more.

One more question. Have you ever been able to replace the light socket in the grote light? I was just messing around with it getting ready to take the bracket off and of course the wire broke off at the socket. Or do you know where I can get the little center copper contact that goes in the center?

Can't you solder the wire back on?

I may be able to I will try when I get to work. Didnt look like a while lot of room. Didnt really tear into it eather to find out. I found some replacement contacts for about a dollar just need to take it apart to figure out the size

I had this same problem with mine, I replaced mine with one I got at auto zone, the wire is smaller but it works just fine, you will have to remove the lense and the bulb and pull it out then push the new one through.

When I mounted one on one of my 100's I had to rotate and use the fender mounting bolt because of the spring assist. I think I had to open the bracket hole up a little to accommodate the larger bolt. I believe it also oriented the drain hole on the light to the bottom. I liked the way it worked so I mounted the one on my 71 the same.
