Default Mower deck for 1812

Hey guys, I've been keeping my eye out for a deck for my 1812. My yard isn't big at all, but wouldn't mind having a deck for it. Cub lists a 38" deck for this tractor. Almost every deck I've ever seen installed or for sale with a machine like this has a 44" on. Anyone ever ran a 38" deck on an 82 series or 18xx tractors?

The 38C Deck is not that popular. I don't see them listed very much.

I haven't seen one listed either, if I found one it would probably end up needing reworked to the bigger pulley

I have a 38" deck from my 1050, I will not be using it as I'm going to put a 44 on it. might not be cheap to ship to you though.

Smack dab in the center. About 30 miles from state college. I actually talked to a guy today. He has 38" and 44" for 75 and 100 respectively. Plus 25 for the mule and undercarriage. I need a plow frame and wouldn't mind another set of wheels so may go that way. Why you ask??

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
