Default Quick attach three point.

I'm sticking with the quick attach theme on my 1772. I'm in the process of finishing up a cat 0 3 point hitch. the hitch plate attaches with only 2 pins and two quick connect hoses. I removed the hydraulic cylinder for the mower deck lift (don't plan on ever putting a mower on it) and installed 2 longer hoses to reach the back of the tractor. They hook up to the new lift cylinder for the 3 point. I still have a few loose ends to tie up, probably try and find a spot to put some suit case weights too, and paint of course. ill update when its complete. then it will be time to make some implements.

500-625, i thought that was for the GTs? ok it is what it is.

with a few calculations, 550psi should net me 389lbs of lift at the lift arms and 216lbs of down pressure. not too bad.

There is a guy on YouTube who has a heavily modified 982 (runs on propane) and he said he got more hydraulic pressure out of the pump by shimming it....not exactly sure how how it's done or where to look but you could contact him rough youtube and I'm sure he'd explain. Just look up 982 on YouTube and you'll find one of his videos.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
