This morning I put the deck on the O and mowed around the garden. Then tilled the garden with the 400 tiller and the 1450. This afternoon I finished mowing the rest of the lawn. This evening I put a new bearing in the idler pulley of 44a deck, will remove the tiller and mount the deck on the 1450 tomorrow.

I'm a bit slow to get fun things uploaded since I'm battling other problems with my neglected cub. But a couple weeks ago I was able to snag a 36" snow blower for dirt cheap at a local auction. Came with 90° gearbox and frame adapter for narrow frame. If next winter is like this years was, I'm going to need it. I have a great neighbor who bailed me out a handful of times last year.
I've only run the blower the little bit you see in the video. I'm going to make sure the gearbox has fresh lube at the same time I'm fixing the axle seals in my tractor. Also, the belt tensioner is going to need some attention if I want to blow more than air. And the rope is lift link is how all you guys do it right? https://youtu.be/an8Un-MlrXw This video was taken with the old Walbro carb (PO replaced engine) before I cleaned it. So I was revving it to see if it was going to sputter and choke on some debris. Here's some stills |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
