You were lucky to have him around for so long.
As I initially followed your posts, I thought that could be me, as @ over 70, I had never had a colonoscopy.
Today I had my colonoscopy,I was lucky, finding no real problems, but
your Dad possibly saved me from a future problem, as I have added higher fiber to my diet.
Thank you, and God bless you and family.
Time will heal and make it easier on you/yours.
Well ol'George, glad your test was a good turn out. No one wants to have one of those damn nights of a thousand waterfalls, then have a garden hose shoved up the "exit" only. But I guess now days if we want to have a better chance at a long productive life, we must endure a little discomfort along the way.
Thanks for the kind words, and I'm pretty sure he was glad to have been of assistance to you in making that big decision now.

Feel for you man, it's a bitch to be around such a thing as watching a loved one go through it. Hope things turn out for the best for your father and family.
I know being on here (OCC) and talking about it made me feel better. We are a great support group, or if you would like to talk, PM me and I'll send you my phone number.
Good luck.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
