Default Nice auction find

A yearly spring sale was today. There happened to be a 2284 there that i thought i would never see at an auction like this. This tractor with 750 some hours, a 451 blower attached, three point, and 2 decks 60" haban and 54 gt deck with both mule drives, cast iron wheel weights with chains on all four tires and very good condition in my opinion. Ended up buying this at a price i didnt think would happen. What would be a descent price to you guys for this set up? I will get some pics tomorrow.

Whatever the value was on this unseen machine, it must have been too much. Nobody who gets a good deal needs conformation of it.

I would say a retail price would be around 3500.00. That is based on if you sold everything separate. You would probably never get that much on a package deal. This is not seeing any pictures, condition matters.

That's exactly right. The going rate or value is only what it will bring that day. Still waiting for pictures...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
