Different brand but looking for thoughts
Picking up an Economy/Power King 1614 tomorrow. Looks like this model was made for a little over 20 years. Currently partially disassembled due to engine damage and partial restore but he's selling it to me only because of me bothering him for months about it plus his wife is after him for shed space. I've done some research and it has one option which is cat 0 three point, manual lift. Doesn't have the second trans but does have lights. Everything is decent including deck. Has headlights too. K 321 has broken rod but I've done a few of them so no big deal. Just thinking its a stout tractor, all gear drive too.
Any of you guys collect these as well? Looks like there's a following although not as big as our CC's http://app.letgo.com/k8Mk/hkHkmpJwvF...d by Robert K.

I had a 2414 PK for a while. Pretty cool little tractor. The 16 stands for the 16" rear wheels and the 14 stands for the horsepower. Mine was the same but had the 24" rear wheels. I'd get another if the deal was good and there are a group of them at the pd's I attend. Mine plowed great but was a little too heavy with my fat butt in the seat.

We have a 1614, and it is certainly a stout machine. It's one my grandfather bought new a couple years before he passed, so it's still very clean and shiny, still has the tire nubs on it! My next door neighbor collects them, last I knew he had 3, one with a front loader on it. He's jealous of the one we have!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
