Based on what I've seen, that's what happened to a lot of them.

Nice work

I found UPS shipping is less expensive than USPS for larger pieces.

Yes, Lowes has plenty!! Less than $5 a can. I even found the can I "misplaced". Probably enough left in that one to paint Sam's bumper if he wants to ride south in the morning.

While I paint the bumper, you could work on my 2284. Stop and pick up a set of spark plugs while you are on the way.

I just picked one up for my 1641. Really great looking piece, I was quite impressed honestly. Now if I just had the time to mount it...

Chrome in a can would be the politically correct term.

Looks great Sam!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
