I was told once i had a set of jd rear rims on one of my wide frames and I guess I never realized the offset went the other way. They looked right on mine but the valve stems were inside and hitting the brake calipers. Oh well live and learn. Anyway nice collection of tractors Lance you've been through quite a few of them.

Lew, great score (hate saying that about green ones). I have a brother in law into those BIG TIME. Has dozens of them. He certainly would say, "Ya done good"! Kind of the shame of the family , if you ask me.....

and yes Ive been through a few since I started to buy/sell them but I do keep the ones I like.... or just put such a high price tag on them that they arent likely to sell... the JD110, the Ford LGT, and the Bolens Super RaM are all permanent pieces of my collection, as is the LoBoy and possibly the CC126 although I havent had a chance to drive it yet. anyway... back to the POs 110... I hope we see progress reports, be interesting to see what you think of it once its all in working order

Thought about you Lance,
I saw a '73 154 cub lowboy setting on the side of the road, for sale. It has nice new paint job/decals on the hood/grill, rest of the paint is original and not too bad, new turfs on the front, older diamond turfs on the read but good. "59 woods deck under it. It looks like it was always shedded, but not $2800 worth. Kind of a smallish motor @ 14 Hp,and can't remember if they were a live PTO, but do remember they were a fast one @ like 22-2400. Anyway, I thought I know a guy who needs a grill Ha,LOL! |

Points on the 110 are hard to get at but the starter is even worse... I recommend pulling the engine out if you need to ever tackle that job.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
