Default Homemade sleeve hitch set up

I built this a little while ago but after seeing a few pictures of the store bought kinds and then looking at the prices I made my own but in my opinion is better because it uses channel iron and allows me to put different types of hitch set ups on it. The one on it is for pulling anything but I am working on one for my plow and disk. I have since painted it cub cadet white too. For 18.00 at the Rural King I picked up the 3 point link and made the box that is curved up to go over the sleeve or raising arm to allow for even higher lifting. It was very easy to build being 14 and having welding skills, drill press and a disposal of metal I'd say it would take you an afternoon to mock up and make. I f you want to make one id be happy to answer any questions just pm me.

Not bad at all. The only thing I will point out ( far right picture in top row ) is the bolt doesn't come to the end of the nut. A longer bolt will maximize strength.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
