Like most other cubs, it is worth more in pieces than as a whole unit. With the '61's, the serial number is also a factor in pricing, as the 4 digit ones bring more. As a complete tractor, I would say around $450-$650. It looks like a good tractor. I do not know what your situation is, but I would hold on to that one. Just my one cent opinion (since I am broke after paying my property taxes and cannot afford a two cents opinion).
Nice cub, Cub Cadet 123

Negative, just seeing what the market is on my O. Id like to have my grandpas 125 but I wouldn't sell my O for it. The O is the coolest looking cub with a 70 and 100 clost 2nd and 3rd for me. I may end up with his 125 yet

If you wouldn't even sell your O to get your grandpa's tractor, then WTF difference does it make what the "market" is on it?

This post has nothing to do with his tractor so buzz off. Seems like any time you post its usually something with some sort of tude'. I wanted to see the value of my O as i had an offer on it. Didnt think it was a a big deal. But when it comes to you it always seems your panties are in a bunch. Later dude!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
