We're about 50 miles North of St. Louis, been raining since Friday, so far we've had 8 to 9 inches, supposed to stop sometime this evening.

27 to 29 degrees this morning (depending on who you listen to) the wind is 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 45, I don't understand why we're not getting ice or snow.

Weather man says mid 40's this afternoon, I'm not seeing it though.

Do your best to avoid the ice and everyone stay safe out there.

Yeah, in Kansas City we had ice this morning and now snow on top. (Oh sure! Now it snows!)

Sorry to hear about the flooding on the other side of the state; we had our share of that here in the Spring.

Amen. We got about 1/2 of ICE on monday. Cub wouldn't push it. It just slid right over the top. I couldn't even get under it with a shovel. I'd rather have snow too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
