Default TnTs 3000 series tractor builds

I figured I would start a thread about my 3000 series tractor build ups.

The tractors are as follows

3240 - 860hrs, front hitch w/angle, 3 hyd circuits, 48" 289 deck, 54" snow/dozer blade, 45" snow blower, rear weight bracket, five 42# suitcase weights, pair of 70# wheel weights, and a Sims full steel ext. cab.

It's been my only tractor for the past 6 years. Until recently that is. It is in need of some general maintenance/freshening up and has been great otherwise. Part of the plan is adding a 3pt and a 4th hyd circuit.

I recently bought a couple of parts tractors, a sweet running 3208 that is rusty and a clean 3165 roller. Both have about 500hrs on them. I want to build up a parts source so I can keep two tractors going for years.

I bought a minty fresh GT3204 w/207hrs on it. It's a keeper. It will get 2 more hyd circuits, the 3240's rear weight bracket and my spare front hitch.

Then there is this one I bought, a 3204 w/823hrs on it to fix up some and flip.

I'm also going to build a plucket(plow bucket) using my second blade to scoop and haul dirt, gravel or whatever. One other project is a box blade build too.

In the end I'll be keeping 2 tractors selling one and using/keeping/selling some parts with the two parts tractors.

Here are a couple of pics.

My 3240 in most of it's winter set-up.

The GT3204.

More to come.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
