Oh Ya I need something else to fix. LOL I only have about 25 tractors.
I'll go look at it later today after the guy gets home from work, and I probably will buy it, if nothing else I can pass it along to the CC collector in sask. Just got home from an early pickup this morning, wonder if that little Cub can pull this.....

Nice looking sickle mower. Looks like a No. 7 or 9 IH machine? Don't think all the cleated tires and wheel weights in the world would let a Cadet pull one of those in real hay, I've got a 7ft rear mount on a Super A and in rank hay you can feel the side draft.

Its a #9, my Loboy might pull it IF it had a clutch, it isnt a working mower tho, I just wanted it for a yard ornament, since I sell alot of riding mowers it seems appropriate.LOL
I went to look at a Duetz Allis front mower the other day and saw the #9, and a Ford 48" rear PTO mower... so made a package deal and bought all three for $275. Im building a Duetz right now so I needed that one, the Ford deck I'll sell to get some cash back, and the #9 will sit out by the driveway entrance.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
