As best as I can tell I have the same front end loader and dozer. That dozer was one tough son of a gun! Did you have the green dumptruck with spring loaded dump body? I busted a lip a couple times leaning across it to trip the dump lever with it empty. Don't make toys (or kids) like that any more!

John,

you hit that nail right on the head!!! The toys are all plastic throw away and the kids are just plain too sorry to get out of the house and play in the dirt... too much entertainment in the house (internet, video games, TV etc)

One dump truck, a loader, and a pile of dirt and I was good for days!!

The red and white one was green, it as well as the blue one are "hydraulic" lift trucks, that pop up pretty fast.
Yeah that dozer was a bruiser in it's day. Could stand on the ROPS and not think of it bending. Oh, many, many hours working those machines as a boy.

First off I'll admit that I still have most of my toys, 40 years later. I had 2 sets--indoor and outdoor. The indoor was primarily everything except earthmoving equipment--I did have a functioning Tonka water tanker and a crane with a clam shell bucket that lived inside. The outside stuff was all earthmoving and road building. I couldn't help it, they were building a 4 lane highway in front of the house--if the construction crew had it and Tonka or Ertl built it, then I had it. I had a massive pile of dirt that I use to build highways in. Lets just say I REALLY needed a bath when I came inside! I think the patches on my jeans had patches.
