Okay Okay I won't scrap the deck! I think it's a 48 incher, the bearings are suprisingly good, just needs the blades touched up, and some gauge wheels. Heck, the tractor even cleaned up well. I put the mule drive back together, and it hasn't blown to bits yet, so i'll keep my fingers crossed. Tractor looks pretty solid, the hydro is nice and tight, allbeit a little jerky. I guess a fluid and filter change can't hurt. Also need a driveshaft fan - I'm down to 1/2 a fin on this one- looks like somebody put it too far forward on the driveshaft. When I raise the lift arm all the way you can hear it hitting the fin. The lift float lock-out pin is stored right where Louisville put it. Carb has a leaky bowl gasket, and I want to rework the exhaust- the elbow is the wrong type for a Cub. All said, I'm pleased so far for $350. The steering wheel is on backwards, and I can't get it to pop off. One thing at a time....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
